Last weekend i gazed longingly at a big brained goldfish and thought maybe for a second we were communicating. I felt a connection and i wanted one. But then i thought about the short life span of a goldfish and got sad. It reminded me of Pokey, who i won at a local fair when i was 9. One day he wasn't in his bowl and i cried for a long time. At least i didn't have to find him.
